Hi appoints payroll and HR heavyweight Eira Hammond

The payroll and HR specialist joins Hi55 Ventures as Head of Payroll, to drive Hi’s mission to transform the way employees are paid

Eira Hammond, the payroll and HR specialist, has been appointed as the new Head of Payroll at Hi55 Ventures, an innovative FinTech that helps companies unlock fast, affordable working capital and pay employees more flexibly.

In her new capacity, Eira will lead the strategic direction for Hi’s payroll product; from managing operational processes to onboarding customers and ensuring their compliance with payroll legislation. Eira’s extensive knowledge of the payroll industry and software will also support the team’s sales and technology development efforts.

Throughout her career, Eira has successfully led transformational payroll and HR projects for major blue-chip customers, including a US operation of a FTSE 100 company. Eira has also held senior payroll positions at BT, Mouchel and Hewitt/Cyborg.

Eira chaired the board of directors at the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) and was one of the first to be awarded CIPP Chartered Member status in 2018.  She been a Tutor for the CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management since 2003 and was recently mentioned by Reward Strategy as one of the most influential and dedicated leaders of the HR industry.
